Misty Fall Morning at the Farm

November 15, 2021

We get the most ethereally beautiful foggy mornings here in late fall. They’re honestly pretty drippy, and the weather we’re having in the PNW right now is also extremely WET, but somehow, these fantastic images by Dani Winters Photography still make me think of my favorite poem about fall. The rain keeps falling right now, but soon enough we’ll have the frozen cold, and the leaves will crunch and the twigs will snap on my morning rambles. I hope you enjoy this sweet cinquain, friends! ????????????????????????

November Night by Adelaide Crapsey

Listen…
With faint dry sound,
Like steps of passing ghosts,
The leaves, frost-crisp’d, break from the trees
And fall.
