Guarantees

Do you offer a guarantee on your seeds?

Yes! We guarantee that our seeds will grow and are true to type of flower, or your product will be refunded. When you plant your seeds, please follow the detailed growing instructions we include with your shipment. If they fail to sprout within 4 weeks after planting, please email us immediately at [email protected]. We are not responsible for weather issues, pest damage, or poor customer care. Seed problems must be reported by 3 months after purchase. This guarantee is limited to the purchase price of seeds only, and does not include shipping fees or liability or damages from losses resulting from crop failure. Reselling seeds originally purchased from Triple Wren Farms voids any and all guarantees on the seeds. 

Do you offer a guarantee on your dahlia tubers and rooted cuttings?

Yes! We guarantee that our dahlias will grow and are true to name, or your product will be refunded. Please plant your dahlias immediately after your USDA growing zone‘s last frost date, and follow the detailed growing instructions we include with your shipment. Your dahlias should sprout within 5 weeks after planting. If they fail to sprout within 6 weeks after planting, please email us immediately at [email protected]. We are not responsible for weather issues, pest damage, or poor customer care. Problems must be reported by August 1 of the year they were ordered. This guarantee is limited to the purchase price of tubers only, and does not include shipping fees or liability or damages from losses resulting from crop failure. Reselling tubers originally purchased from Triple Wren Farms voids any and all guarantees on the tubers.

Note: Please report any damaged or missing tubers, or anything unusual you notice about your order, within one week of delivery. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer replacements or refunds after this period.

We guarantee that dahlia rooted cuttings will arrive alive and in good condition. If your cutting arrives damaged, you must report the issue within 3 days of delivery by emailing [email protected] with clear photo proof of the damage. Rooted cuttings are live plants, and once they arrive healthy, we are not responsible for any issues that occur due to weather, pests, or improper care. Because of this, we are unable to offer refunds or replacements unless the plant arrived in a damaged state. Please plant your cutting promptly and follow care guidelines to give it the best chance to thrive.

Sales

When will your dahlia tubers restock again in the online store?

Each year, TWF holds several online sales from our farm in Ferndale, Washington for our USA customers. We have our Tuber Pre-Sale in late summer, our Main Tuber Sale  in late fall or winter, and a Spring Tuber Sale in March or April. We also sell Rooted Cuttings from our store throughout the winter. Tubers and rooted cuttings purchased during our USA sales are shipped to U.S. addresses the following April or May. Before making a purchase from Triple Wren Farms, all customers are required to read and agree to our Terms and Conditions. To stay informed about specific sale dates, please subscribe to our U.S. newsletter.

We also have dahlia tuber and rooted cuttings sales from our farm in Abbotsford, British Columbia for our Canadian customers. Tubers and rooted cuttings purchased during our Canada sales are shipped to Canada addresses the following April or May. Before making a purchase from Triple Wren Farms, all customers are required to read and agree to our Terms and Conditions. Why is the online store sometimes limited to members of your online community?

Triple Wren offers a private shopping experience for the members of our online community, The Garden, before every dahlia tuber and tissue culture rooted cuttings sale. You can find out more info or join The Garden here.

How can I purchase your cut flowers?

We do not offer You-Pick flowers or a Farm Stand at the farm at this time.

Orders

Can I change my order from your online store?

No. As is noted on each item in our online store, once an order is placed, we cannot add or subtract items. If you want any additional items not included in your original order, please place a new order. We do not combine shipping and reduce charges on separately placed orders or on orders from different sales.

Can I cancel my entire order from your online store?

Yes, you can cancel your order up to two weeks before your requested ship date. Please email us at [email protected] with your request. We will send a refund to your original payment method, minus a 15% re-stocking fee.

Something disappeared from my cart in the online store. Can you help me or edit my order?
<p>Our online store is set up as “first-checked-out, first-served.” We typically experience extremely high volume during the first few hours of our tuber sales, and items may sell out within minutes. As items sell out quickly, they may disappear from your cart without notice.</p>
My dahlia tuber or rooted cutting was damaged.

If a tuber or cutting arrives damaged, we are more than happy to help. All damaged item requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your package. Requests submitted after this window may be declined.

My dahlia tuber or rooted cutting is missing.

All missing tuber requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your package. Requests submitted after this timeframe may be declined.

There was an issue as soon as I received my tuber or rooted cutting, how can you help?

You must report any issues with dahlia tubers within 7 days and dahlia rooted cuttings within 3 days of receiving your package. This allows us to promptly address any concerns and proactively make things right. Any issues reported after the deadline will not qualify for a replacement or refund.

This policy is clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions, your shipping confirmation email, and the flyers included in your package. Unfortunately, if we’re contacted outside of this timeframe, we’re unable to offer assistance.

Shipping

When will dahlia tubers ship from the farm?

At checkout, you have the option to choose an April or May ship date for your dahlia tubers. April orders will ship throughout the month of April, each year, and May orders usually ship the second week of May each year.

When will your tissue culture rooted dahlia cuttings ship?

Tissue Culture Rooted Cutting orders will ship in April, 2026. Please watch the email account you use to place your order for specific shipping info/notifications, as ship dates will be weather dependent for each U.S. growing zone and each Canadian growing zone. Will rooted dahlia cuttings and tuber orders be shipped together?

Tubers and Rooted Cuttings will not ship in the same orders. If you order both in the same order, you’ll be charged two separate shipping rates and the packages will be shipped at different times from our farm.

What carriers do you use to ship packages?

All U.S. orders ship via USPS First Class or USPS Priority Mail. Canadian orders ship via Canada Post via Xpresspost or Expedited Parcel.

Please note: Packages returned to Triple Wren due to the USPS’s or Canada Post’s inability to deliver (whether from inaccurate address info provided to Triple Wren or other delivery issues) are ineligible for a refund of shipping fees and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

I received an email saying my package was delivered, but I have not received my package. Where is it?

We have seen an increasing amount of orders being marked “Delivered” before the package actually arrives at its destination. If your package is marked as "delivered" but you haven't received it, USPS requires a 7-day waiting period before they can investigate. During this time, please follow up with your local Postal Carrier or Postmaster.

My package was lost in transit or damaged during shipping.

If your package is lost or damaged in transit, we’re happy to assist. Please note that we cannot report a package as lost until 15 days after the ship date or marked delivery date. Requests will be processed in the order they are received, and you will be updated as soon as we have information.

  • If your package was damaged in transit, you must include clear photos of both the damaged product and the USPS packaging. Without proper documentation, we cannot issue a refund or replacement.

My package is being returned back to the farm, can you resend?

Yes, we can resend the package. We will reach out to confirm that the address we have on file is correct before attempting to resend.

If we do not receive a response within one week, we will issue a refund minus a 20% restocking fee.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship dahlia tubers, live plants, seeds, and gift products to both the U.S. and Canada.

Dahlia Care & Resources

How should I dig, care for, and store my dahlia tubers over winter?

If you live in a place where the temperatures fall below freezing overwinter, you will need to dig up and store your tubers over the winter. What viruses will tissue culture rooted cuttings be tested for?

Events & Visiting the Farm

Is your farm open to visitors today?

We are closed to visitors in 2025 except for our Dahlia Festival. You can find out more info and purchase tickets to attend Dahlia Festival 2025 here. We are not open for drop-in visitors.We are a working farm with deadlines and schedules that we must keep, so we do not make exceptions for drop-in visitors.

Can I take photos at the farm or bring a professional photographer to take photos of my family?

We are fully booked for reservations to take photos in the flower fields for summer and fall 2025.

General Questions

Do you sell gift certificates/gift cards for your online store?

Yes. You can get info for U.S. gift cards here, and you can get info for Canada gift cards here. Please note, gift cards/gift certificates are non-refundable and may only be used in the online store where they are purchased.

Is Triple Wren a licensed and inspected WA state nursery?

Yes! Each summer we undergo multiple WSDA inspections. Additionally, we have been a registered nursery in WA state since 2012 and have regular live plant inspections. We have been licensed to ship our products to Canada since 2023.
