Earlier this month Steve and I zipped down to Santa Cruz to pick fresh lemons, gaze at the ocean for five minutes, feel the sun on our skin, and most importantly to meet Kristine Albrecht, of Santa Cruz Dahlias, and her lovely, supportive family and crew. It was fantastic to see how they grow their incredibly beautiful dahlias! We’re partnering with @santacruzdahlias within our Legacy Program, so watch closely over the next months to see what we’re growing on at the farm in Washington. You can even stop by and see the KA’s blooms yourself on Open Farm days in August and September!
