Pumpkin Patch at Triple Wren Farms

October 1, 2018

In 2016, when we purchased our own farm, we started a mini pumpkin patch… and it was so fun we’ve never looked back! Our pumpkin patch has grown exponentially, and so has the joy of running it.

The idea of having our community at the farm in the fall was attractive, but we had no idea how glorious it would be to meet our neighbors, share our piglets and chickies with local families, and grow a riotous assortment of pumpkins, squash, and gourds to share with the fall-lovers in Whatcom County.

We’re open on Fridays and Saturdays in October each year, (free parking and free admission!) with plenty of decorative pumpkins, sugar pie pumpkins, fall flower bouquets, farm swag, treats, and fall farm sights to see.

The friendships that have sprung up at our farm through the Patch have surprised and delighted us. Our employees, who work behind the scenes most of the year to prepare wholesale orders, also look forward to the fall Pumpkin Patch as a way to connect face-to-face with customers.

Fall is always bittersweet at the farm, as our field-grown blooms fade in the frost, and the warmth of summer fades away. Our Pumpkin Patch definitely finishes off the growing season at Triple Wren on a high, and has had untold benefits for our flower farm business. We hope to see you soon at the farm!
