When communicating with my farm crew, I often use a cooking analogy for giving flower-arranging instructions. It may seem silly, but I can’t help feeling it’s the most relatable and appropriate parallel. Both bouquet-building and dinner-preparing require gathering ingredients, prepping them, combining them in the proper way, and presenting the finished product in an attractive fashion.
This fun “Flower Recipe” is a bit out of season for this chilly December day, but it warms my heart to remember the warmth of August and September when these blooms were plentiful at the farm!
