Planning Instincts

September 16, 2020

Towards the end of each flower season, my planning instincts kick into high gear (and it always gives the same comforting rush as nesting did before childbirth????). I used to (ignorantly!) think that flower businesses who changed their plans radically from year to year were wandering, not settled, or trying to find their way… but as I’ve grown as a businesswoman I realize that the *smartest* and *most successful* business owners are those constantly assessing the most healthy/profitable/realistic arms of their operations and capitalizing on the data they collect about how their business is functioning.

Growth doesn’t always come from knuckling down on what you’re comfortable with – but in my experience and observation it comes more often from being willing to take the risks and switch things up.

Have you seen our free 5-step process for business planning for flower entrepreneurs? It’s available here on our blog, and I’d love for you to check it out. It’s nothing earth-shattering, but I’ve listed the key processes that have made Triple Wren successful, and would love the chance to share them with you. Happy Tuesday, flower friends!
