Hello flower friends! What a week it has been. We are using the sunshiny days available this week to their fullest extent, planting what we can, preparing in new ways to safely, cleanly ship amazing dahlia tubers all over the country (in just about 2-3 weeks!), adjusting to the new, quieter way of life and enjoying extra time as a family. We wanted to take a moment tonight and share our heart about all of our On-Farm Events this summer.
When we planned our season, who could have guessed that we’d be together in this current social climate, with major conferences rescheduling and uncertainty at every corner.

We’ve done a lot of praying and considering over the past two weeks about all of our scheduled events this summer, and have decided to move forward in hope, with caution.
Our first major event (the Big Family Blueberry Party ????) is about 120 days away. The Cultivate Women’s Evening is scheduled for 128 days from today. Our Dahlia Festival, Summer Yoga Nights, the Pumpkin Patch….. it’s frankly scary to be looking ahead with such uncertainty when we have such a wonderful summer planned! Our farm business is our family’s income, and we also support a whole crew of faithful employees.
So much could happen in the next few months, and we have no way of knowing how life will go. We pray that life in the United States is closer to “normal” by then, but we want you to know that we will assess each event at the farm this summer carefully, taking our cues from local government and announcing any changes clearly on social media and to our email subscribers.
Thank you for your support and your interest in our farm events. We appreciate you and wish you the very best as you “bloom” right where you are in your homes, in the middle of these stretching days. Be well and safe, and may God be with you!
