There’s so much joy for me in designing with the farm’s bounty this time of year! {Ingredients detailed below.} The tricky thing for me is rejoicing when I’m NOT involved in such a lovely exercise: when the weeds overwhelm and the mask requirements make social things sticky, and the weddings cancel, and the fear insidiously creeps in.

If I’m ruled by my circumstances, I’ll crumble. If my hope and faith are fixed on an unchanging God who promises to care for me, and if I’m clinging to those promises more than to my own capability, I can find true joy in any situation.
