The magic of foxglove season is beginning here in the PNW, where it grows wild, hiding near blackberries in the woods or sweetly springing up around the back steps of abandoned farmhouses. We have grown lots of hybrid digitalis (foxglove) in our fields over the years, and have slowly selected and saved seed from the best “farm mix” varieties that pop up near our fields from crosses of all the varieties. We’re planning to offer seed packets in the Online Store from this spring’s offerings so that you too can enjoy a beautiful foxglove ombre!
